Behind The Wheel
Are you ready for your teenager to drive? Do you, as an adult, want a refresher or want to do the Behind the Wheel class before you take your DMV exam? Lompoc Adult School offers one of the safest, most comprehensive programs at a reasonable price ($150.00)
•Driver's Training is NOT Drivers Education
•Driver's Education is a California Requirement offered during the school day.
• Driver's Training is required by the DMV for persons under 18 who wish to obtain their Driver's License.
• Driver's Training is a fee-based program since there is no California State support.

Traffic Violator School
This is an 8 hour class established with the Department of Motor Vehicles. This course is open to all persons who have been given this option by the Court. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of class. Registration is required in person and prior to the day of the class at the Lompoc Adult School office, located at 515 West College Avenue. Be sure to bring your driver's license information, your case number, the court that referred you to traffic school, and $30.00 cash or money order (no checks are accepted). Attendance at and participation in the 8 hour class is mandatory to satisfactorily complete the class and receive your certificate. Transfers are allowed only once.

Mature Driving
Are you 55+ and want to save in your insurance?
Do you want to improve your driving skills and become elegible for reduce insurance costs? This course is designed for mature drivers to help inicrease awareness of driving precautions that can, and should, be used to compensate for diminish physical and visual skills. When you complete this 8 hour course of instruction with our experienced driver's education instructor, you will receive a Certificate from the Department of Motor Vehicles. (DMV). Thhis certificate is your record of elegibility for REDUCE AUTO INSURANCE PREMIUMS.

American Red Cross Certification in CPR & First Aid
Are you prepared? More people know more about how to jump start their car than they do a heart. This course is designed for the general public and will teach CPR/First Aid. You will learn what to do in emergencies that involve choking, breathing, or heart attack and how to recognize emergencies for adults, children and infants. Students who pass this course will receive their American Red Cross Certification. This card is valid for one year. Pre-registration is required.
